A powerful, mature pinot gris made by Weingut Brenneisen of the Markgräflerland, hand picked by 17 Hippies, with a delicate, subtle tartness. Fermented in new oak barrels and aged for 17 months on fine lees. It has the fragrance and taste of grapefruit, quinces, ripe bananas, a hint of citrus and a discreet note of wood. Ideal accompaniment for spicy dishes and strong cheese, or simply to be enjoyed on its own.
