KIRSCHENZEIT

Time was ripe for a new way to put our songs on tape. So we took a bunch of ideas to the old Hörspielstudio at Funkhaus Nalepastraße, where we rehearsed, arranged and recorded eleven backing tracks in two days, adding horns and strings in two more. Then we wrote the lyrics for songs about what we feel is worth going on a barricade for. The title is the German translation for “Le temps des Cerises”, a song associated with the Paris Commune of 1871.
