A collection of our first recordings ever, originally intended as a cassette for friends and family. When we found out, that it was cheaper to release them on a CD, we did, accidentally starting our own record company. All from 1996, some tracks were taped at the legendary Beatstudio by equally legendary Gerd Blum, who also took care of mastering. Others were recorded using a cassette recorder, capturing the swinging atmosphere of our early regular gigs at “Café Bellevue” and abord “MS Pik-As”, two West Berlin venues we have outlived. Our first regular concert at a proper venue was tracked at our favourite old “Franz-Club” on July 14th (the day after Love Parade) giving us the iconic introduction “Habt ihr alle eure Plaeauschuhe an? (“are you all wearing your platform shoes?”).
