Back from the US of A! (and Canada of course)
We're back home in Berlin, and as soon as we've slept off our travel-sleep-deficit we'll post loads of photos, and a couple of videos. As an appetiser here's our concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
HIPPIES USE BACK DOOR! No way! Everywhere we played we were welcomed warmly. The 13 concerts at festivals, and clubs in Milwaukee, Madison,Chicago, Montréal, Ithaca, Washington, Stone Ridge, NYC and Bloomington were all great. Thanks to all those who helped to make this a memorable experience. One thing for sure: we'll be back!
Hello from Chicago ...
... and off we go to Montréal in Québec; passing by the Great Lakes. Driving, driving, driving. America is soo beautiful in autumn. Our concerts are going strong, the people are breathtakingly nice, eager to get connected, … and love to party, In short, everything is: "farout cool", and "awesome"!!! Each place with it's unmistakable charm, the "Global Union Festival" in Milwaukee & the "Willy Street Fair" in Madison: Thank you so much for having us! We'll keep our promise, and come back!!

Thank you … to everyone who came to …
… a midsummer’s concert in Aachen … in the rain ( What a night!!), to Lorsch & Kassel (it was like meeting old friends), to Basel & Thun & Zürich (you bet, well turn up more often!), to Colmar, Bayeux, Pons, Vendômes & Langres (avec nos amis tant aimés), to Prague & Litomercice (opening up a new horizon), to Sallent de Gallégo, Barbastro, Zaragoza, Tarragona, Salamanca & Vic (being “fanned“ at in the heat), to Heerlen/Holland (with it’s audience of metal fans), to Budapest and the fantastic Sziget Festival (with the whole world on an island). And last, not least, our hometown Berlin …
To all and everyone: thank you all for coming! Thank you all for sharing, and hope to see you next year with a brand-new CD full of new songs.
17 Hippies at the Deutsches Theater Berlin
We composed and arranged the music for the play «Kasimir und Karoline» by Ödön v. Horváth, at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. And what's better: we play live on stage! Andreas Dresen, whom we worked together for the film HALBE TREPPE (Grill Point), did a great job directing.
For dates and info's take a look at the tour-dates part of our home-page, or go directly to Deutsches Theater. As the show sells out quickly, be shure to get hold of tickets early!
